This well-meaning drama
is a bit clunky in execution, but the performance by Athena
Chu practically redeems everything. She and Nicky Wu play
two lovers who have a disastrous break up after he sleeps
with her buddy Iris Chai. Three years later they meet again,
but circumstances prevent anything but an affair. Then more
stuff happens. Nicky Wu is still a plastic actor - it’s really
hard to feel for him sometimes. Athena Chu is uncharacteristically
great, though. Overall, this is a thoughtful if uninspired
