Review
by Kozo:
This low-budget cop thriller looks like it may have a decent potboiler plot, but that feeling soon disappears. Patrick Tam stars as a shady bisexual cop who meets an old flame (Anita Chan) right before she gets targeted for a rub out. What makes this movie such a joke is the identity of the killer. Not only is it easy to figure out, but Universe Laser put the killer's identity ON THE DVD COVER ART. After that wonderful spoiler, it doesn't even matter that implausibilities start to pile up. Patrick Tam could have a good career playing run-down cops (he’s convincingly rumpled), but this is not the film to test out the waters. Lots of bad stuff happens in this flick and no one is really spared. But do we care? A few years ago, this stuff starred Simon Yam and Loletta Lee. Now it’s Patrick Tam and Pinky Cheung. Lovely. (Kozo 2000)
