The Skinny: |
The
most this film could accomplish is to become landfill for
a New Territories housing development. I vote that such a
move be made possible. |

Review
by Kozo: |
Disposable and ultra-cheap flick
that one could hold responsible for Hong Kong Cinema's ultimate
fall from grace. Anthony Wong and Tsui Kam-Kong star as a
couple of wacky mainland cops who find themselves tracking
a kidnapper. Eventually, Tsui suspects the evildoer may be
old martial arts buddy Billy Chow. Pang Dan co-stars as Chow's
wife.
Another Chinese Cop feels
like it was shot without a script or even a minor attempt
at planning. It's just a mishmash of pointless dialogue and
uninteresting scenes which really serve no purpose. The highlight
for some may be Pang Dan, who does a truly obnoxious dance
in a teddy that's more disturbing than sexy. It's great that
Anthony Wong was able to earn some money from this, but if
he does this too often I may be forced to seek a refund from
his personal bank account. Avoid this film or suffer the consequences.
