Street of Fury
Year: 1996 "My hair is lovely, no?"
Tsui Kam-Kong and Louis Koo
Director: Billy Tang Hin-Sing
Producer: Lee Siu-Kei

The Skinny: Entertaining but unnecessary triad drama that proves largely forgettable.
Review
by Kozo:
This typical triad flick has some decent “heroic triad” plot twists, but ultimately suffers from a total lack of purpose. Louis Koo and Michael Tse are buddies who join a triad society led by Tsui Kam-Kong (in an effective comedic performance). Along the way they clash with various evil triads (Lam Kwok-Bun, Simon Lui Yu-Yeung), as well as romance a couple of ladies (Gigi Lai and Teresa Mak).
All things considered, there really isn’t a reason for the entire film’s plot - of which there practically is none. This is an entertaining film, but why should we watch it? The females in this film are wasted. I felt for Gigi Lai and Teresa Mak - used and abused. Michael Tse is all right, but he does nothing new. Only Tsui Kam-Kong and Louis Koo come off looking good. Koo, in particular, has a striking screen presence. Hopefully he’ll get better work someday. (Kozo 1996)
