that: standard. Despite a good cast, this movie is only occasionally
interesting. |

Review
by Kozo: |
This serial-killer thriller is a watchable exercise, but it ultimately
offers nothing more than the typical HK hodgepodge of wacky side
characters, sickening bad guys, and righteous indignation by the
cops. Michael Wong is the lead cop, who’s out to clear his name
in the accidental shooting of fellow cop Moses Chan. He plans to
solve Chan’s case, and gets wacky pimp Anthony Wong to help him.
While the casting gets us primed for a top-notch Beast Cops
reunion, we instead get an average cop action movie that’s only
sporadically interesting. Normally I don't think much of Michael
Wong, but even he deserves better than this. (Kozo 2000) |
